Hi, I’m Linda, and started up the Berwick Creates site and magazine in January 26. The idea came after attended a couple of workshops and chatting with local creatives (thanks Dave!), I thought, ooh, a free magazine and website showcasing the creatives, their art, workshops, music and events in Berwick all together would be a rather lovely project, and here we are.
I still work in publishing in Edinburgh while building Berwick Creates. I’m inspired by a love of local creativity, meeting people, community events and sharing good stories. Close by is Millie, my big fluffy schnoodle, studio sidekick, morale booster and a (sometime) very good girl. Some of you may recall the night Millie decided to party all night out on the beach at Cheswick, it was only thanks to the kindness of local community and the power of social media that she was found early the next morning, exhausted after all her carry on. Let’s hope Millie’s all nighters are behind her now.

Woof woof, I’m Millie the Schnoodle and my job is to sniff out the good stuff, welcome our creatives and make everyone smile. I’m very good at walking round the Walls, studio visits with biscuits and if you spot me sashaying around the town or on the local beaches (not all nighters now), do say hello. I’ll be the one waggling my waggly tail and giving a friendly woof!
